The seal is made from an EVA medical/polymer tape and is designed for bacterial and eukaryotic cell culture applications where gas exchange and containment are required. It is peelable and pierceable (manually or by liquid handling robots) and is suitable for short-term or overnight incubations, offering reduced evaporation compared with uncovered plates.
