Hydrophilic PCTE membrane discs manufactured by GVS are thin, microporous polycarbonate film filters treated with a wetting agent to make the membrane hydrophilic. They capture particles larger than the stated pore size on the membrane surface and are intended for use in blood assays, high-purity filtration and general laboratory filtration applications where a smooth, flat, low-extractable membrane surface is required.
