Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane discs laminated to a polypropylene support are hydrophobic filtration media designed to collect particulate and provide a chemical-resistant barrier for air, gas and liquid handling applications. This 25 mm, 0.45 µm PTFE‑PP laminated disc is supplied in a pack of 100 and can be used for venting, phase separations, aerosol sampling and filtration of aggressive chemical solutions; PTFE membranes allow air to pass while collecting fine particulate and can be prewetted for aqueous filtration when required. The laminated construction improves durability and handling and the membranes are autoclavable up to 130°C.
