Laminated PTFE membrane discs are made of polytetrafluoroethylene laminated to a polypropylene support for improved durability and easy handling. The hydrophobic PTFE membrane allows air and gases to pass while collecting particulate down to 0.45 µm, and is chemically compatible with strong acids and aggressive solvents. Typical uses include venting, environmental and air monitoring, and filtration applications where a chemically resistant, hydrophobic barrier is required.
