Quantitative, ashless filter paper designed for critical gravimetric and quantitative laboratory filtration. The disc is acid‑washed and processed to achieve very low ash content and a hardened texture, providing highest retention with a very slow flow rate for the recovery of fine analytical precipitates (for example barium sulphate, metastannic acid and finely precipitated calcium carbonate). It is suitable for use with Büchner funnels and filtration under pressure and for extremely difficult filtrations in analytical work.
