Cellulose Acetate (CA) membrane discs for laboratory filtration, 0.45 µm pore size and 47 mm diameter, supplied 100 per pack. The membranes are supported by an inert polyester web that gives dimensional stability and high mechanical strength, allowing use in protein and enzyme filtration, biological fluid sterilization, cold sterilization and tissue culture media clarification. The media is hydrophilic and naturally low-binding, intended to provide high recoveries when filtering proteinaceous solutions and to withstand autoclaving or steam sterilization up to 135°C without damage.
