MicroSnap EB is a rapid bioluminogenic test for the detection and enumeration of Enterobacteriaceae (EB). The test produces a light signal when enzymes characteristic of EB react with specialized substrates; the signal is quantified using a Hygiena luminometer (EnSURE or EnSURE Touch). MicroSnap EB delivers quantitative (CFU) or qualitative (presence/absence) results within the same day (typically 6–8 hours) and is designed for testing environmental surfaces, food products and water samples in food production and safety programs.
