PCTE Hydrophilic Black membrane discs are thin, microporous polycarbonate (PCTE) filtration membranes treated to be hydrophilic for aqueous filtration and analytical use. These black-dyed, track-etched discs capture all particles larger than the pore size on the membrane surface and are intended for applications requiring precise size separation, microscopy, direct counting of microorganisms and environmental or food/water testing. The product is supplied as 47 mm diameter discs with 0.4 µm absolute pore size in packs of 100.
